He was born on the 3rd of January 1987 in Wrocław. Grandmaster (2015), FIDE Solving Master (2006). He participated in the World Chess Solving Championships (WCSC) 3 times. He gained his best result in 2006 (6th place). He has taken part in the European Chess Solving Championships (ECSC) 4 times (the best result – 16 place in 2007). He won three bronze medals in teams classification of the ECSC (2006, 2007 and 2008). He also gained 3 medals in the ECSC among juniors (golden in 2005 and 2007, bronze in 2006).

He was born on the 18th of January 1968 in Gdynia. He is a national candidate master (1989) and FIDE Solving Master (2002). Multiple medalist of the Polish Solving Championships (5 times silver and 5 times bronze). He has taken part in the World Chess Solving Championships 9 times. His best individual result was 8th place in 2006. He won medals in teams classification three times (silver in 2006, bronze in 2001 and 2008). He participated in the European Chess Solving Championships 6 times. He has gained the best individual result in 2008 (15 place). He gained the bronze medal in teams classification in 2006. He is an author of 16 chess compositions. He gained 8 prizes and 4 honorable mentions.

He was born on the 1st of September 1989. International Solving Grandmaster of the FIDE (2019). Multiple medalist of the Polish Chess Solving Championships (7 times – bronze). World Champion in solving (once individually in 2019 and 3 times in teams). Multiple medalist of the European Chess Solving Championships (5 times in teams).

He was born on the 7th of January 1983 in Myszków. Grandmaster (2004), International Solving Grandmaster of the FIDE (2016). Four-time medalist of the Polish Championships in solving (golden in 2017). Multiple golden medalist of the World Chess Solving Championships (8 times in teams). Four-time golden medalist of the European Chess Solving Championships (in teams).

 

Piorun Kacper

He was born on the 24th of November 1991 in Łowicz. The leading Polish chess player, Grandmaster (2012), International Solving Grandmaster of the FIDE (2011). He is the first Polish chess player to receive two grandmaster titles. Multiple medalist of the Polish Championships in solving (3 times golden). World Champion in solving (5 times individually and 11 times in teams). Multiple medalist of the European Chess Solving Championships (twice individually and 10 times in teams).

A FIDE Master for Chess Compositions (2015). He started composing in 1993. Since then he has published more than 200 of chess problems (150 studies – his speciality). He gained about 20 prizes and 25 honorable mentions. Over a dozen of his compositions were published in FIDE Albums (18,17 points).

He was born on February 3, 1933 in Brześć, died on June 28, 2024 in Częstochowa. An International Master of the FIDE for Chess Composition (2015), a national Grandmaster for Chess Composition (2013), an International Judge of the FIDE for Chess Compositions (1967). He started composing in 1952. Since then he has published more than 1000 of chess problems (700 selfmates – his speciality). He gained about 140 prizes. 31 of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (27,5 points). Two-time medalist of the World Chess Composition Tournament (1984-1988 – silver, 1989-1992 – bronze). In the years 1961–2003 he published the periodical “Problemista”.

Gold medalist of the of the Polish Solving Championship (Lubliniec 1988). He participated in World Chess Solving Championships several times (6th place in 1985).

Lewandowski Andrzej

He was born on the 18th of January 1937 in Zalesie. FIDE Master for Chess Compositions (1992), published about 80 chess compositions (70 endgames – his speciality). He gained 20 prizes and 16 honorary mentions, several of his studies were published FIDE Albums (22,5 points). Two-time medalist of the World Chess Composition Tournament (1984-1988 – silver, 1989-1992 – bronze).
