He was born on November 21, 1956 in Płońsk. National candidate master for chess composition (1987), II chess category. An author of a few chess compositions. In composing tourneys he gained 4 distinctions (one 1st Prize). Silver medalist of the 3rd WCCT (1984-1988).

Bronze medalist of the Polish Solving Championship in 1985. He also participated in 1986 and 1993 roku.

He was born on November 6, 1967. National Master of Chess Composition (2014). Four-time medalist of the Polish Chess Solving Championships (golden in 1991, bronze in 1990, 1992 and 1997). He participated in the World Chess Solving Championships (WCSC) three times.

He published 71 chess compositions, gaining 8 prizes (3 first ones) and 13 honourable mentions.

Polish Championship 2021 – results

On August 21-22, 2021, another international Polish championship in solving was played at the Mariott airport hotel in Warsaw. The competition was held in the WCSC system. The players had 18 problems to solve, for which it was possible to score a maximum of 90 points.

The competition was led by the international judge Andrey Selivanov from Russia.
The first place and the title of the Polish champion was won by grandmaster Piotr Murdzia, who was ahead of the international champion Vidmantas Satkus and grandmaster Martynas Limontas (both Lithuania).
The silver medal of the Polish championship was won by grandmaster Piotr Górski, and the bronze medal by Jakub Marciniszyn.
In the junior category, the first place was taken by Jonasz Baum, and the second by Michał Koziorowicz.
The only senior (over 60) was Krzysztof Spičak.
