He worked as a IT specialist and administrator of the school computer network, as well as a photographer and chess instructor. The first category in a classical chess. He participated in the Polish chess solving championship four times. His best result was 7th place in 1986. In addition, he participated in 2014, 2018 and 2019.

He was born on April 23, 1983. The son of a chess player and solver Bogdan Stawarz. He graduated from the Wrocław University of Technology. The first category in classical chess. A multiple participant in the Polish chess solving championships (the best result – 5th place in 2003, in adition he was sixth in 2010, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019). He took part twice in the World Chess Solving Chamionship (in 2015 and 2017). He participated three times in the European Chess Solving Championship (in 2011, 2013, 2015 – his best result – 36th place).
