Banaszek Marcin
He was born on the 11th of November 1947. FIDE Master (1997), National Master for chess composition (2013). He made his debut in chess composition in 1966. An author of 245 chess problems and studies. He gained 123 distinctions: 30 prizes (13 first ones) and 37 honourable mentions. 8 of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (8 points). Bronze team medalist of the World Chess Composition Tournament (1989-1992).

Mażul Waldemar
He was born on the 18th of October 1953 and died on the 15th of August 2000 in Gdańsk. FIDE Master (1989), FIDE Master for Chess Compositions (2005). His first problem was published in 1974, but he composed the majority of his problems (mainly twomovers) in his last years. In total he published about 100 of chess compositions, gaining 38 prizes (17 first prizes) and 18 honourable mentions. 21 of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (21 points). He took 11th place in the World Championship in Composing for Individuals (WCCI) 1998-2000 in the twomovers section.

Wróbel Marian
He was born on the 1st of January 1907 in Lwów and died on the 25th of April 1960 in Warsaw. An International Master of the FIDE for Chess Composition (2015), a national Grandmaster for Chess Composition (2013), an International Judge of the FIDE for Chess Compositions (1956). He composed his first problem in 1922. In total he published about 1000 chess problems gaining 161 prizes (80 first prizes).
44 of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (44 points). In 1957 he was awarded the title of an Honorary Member of the Polish Chess Federation. An author of books: “Tajemnice dwuchodówki” (Secrets of the twomover), 1950, and “Sto lat polskiej kompozycji szachowej” (A houndred years of the Polish Chess Composition), 1956.
Rusek Jan A.
He was born on the 30th of September 1910 in Komorowice and died on the 9th of February 1987. An International Master of the FIDE for Chess Composition (1976), a national Grandmaster for Chess Composition (2013), an International Judge of the FIDE for Chess Compositions (1959). He started composing in 1929. In total he published more than 2900 of chess problems, gaining 145 prizes (71 first prizes). 32 of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (32 points).
Królikowski Ryszard
He was born on the 10th of January 1969 in Warsaw. He is a national candidate master (2000) and FIDE Solving Judge (2013). Multiple participant and silver medalist (in 2007) of the Polish Championships in solving. Multiple participant in the World Chess Solving Championships (WCSC) and in the European Chess Solving Championships (ECSC). Four-time team medalist in ECSC (silver – 2012 and 2019, bronze – 2007 and 2011). He was the main director of the ECSC in 2014 and WCSC in 2019. Author of 16 chess compositions. He gained one honourable mention and two commendations.
Rosolak Władysław
He was born on the 27th of June 1936 and died on the 9th of February 2006 in Łódź. National Master for Chess Composition (1974), an International Judge of the FIDE for Chess Compositions (1971). He published his first problem in 1952. In total he published above ponad 350 chess problems, gaining more than 230 distinctions (more than 40 prizes). Seven of his compositions were published FIDE Albums (7 points). Two-time team medalist of the World Chess Composition Tournament (1984-1988 – silver, 1989-1992 – bronze). For many years he directed the Polish Solving Championships. He took part in the World Chess Solving Championships 5 times. He was the head of the Chess Composition Commission of the Polish Chess Federation during 1976-1982. He represented Poland in the Permanent Commission for Chess Composition of the FIDE for many years. He published (with Jan Rusinek) a book „Najpiękniejsze polskie miniatury” (Warszawa, 1986).
