He was born on the 23rd of July 1918, died on the 3rd of November 1993. A national candidate mater (1949), a national candidate master for chess composition (1974). He published his first problem in 1935. He composed more than 350 chess problems: twomovers, threemovers, selfmates and helpmates. In tourneys he gained 6 prizes (2 first ones). He participated in the first World Chess Composition Tournament (1973-75): his helpmates finished at the 7th and 11th places.

He was born on the 26th of August 1909 in Bochnia, died on the 24th of April 1979. Doctor of law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He published his first problem in 1929. In total he composed 190 problems, mainly two- and threemovers. In tourneys he received 23 distinctions, 7 prizes (3 first ones). He was composing mainly during 1929-38. Beszczyński Jan

He was born on the 2nd of May 1922, died on the 20th of August 1998 in Gdańsk. A Master of Economics by education, researcher at the Maritime Institute in Gdańsk. A national master for chess composition (1959). He made his debut in 1952. In total he published more than 100 chess problems. In tourneys he gained 6 prizes (2 first ones). Four of his problems were published in the FIDE Albums (4 points). A silver medalist of the Polish championship in chess composition in the section of twomovers (1955–56).

He was born on the 10th of November 1908 in Poznań, died on the 15th of March 1980. A mechanical engineer by education. National master for chess composition (1959), International Judge in chess composition (1960). His first problem was issued in 1929. In total he published about 200 chess problems. In tourneys he gained 16 prizes (8 first ones). Two of his problems were published in the FIDE Albums (2 points). A silver medalist of the Polish championship in chess composition in the section of twomovers (1945–54) and threemovers (1955-56).
