He was born on the 8th of April 1936 in Warsaw, died on the 2nd of April 2019 in Warsaw. Habilitated doctor engineer with specialization in technical mechanics and physics of solids. A long-time researcher at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. National master for chess composition (1963). His first problem was issued in 1951. He published roughly 90 of chess problems, receiving 33 prizes (13 first ones) and 18 honourable mentions. Nine of his problems were reproducted in the FIDE Albums (9 points).
