He was born on the 19th of January 1936 in Warsaw. National master in chess composition (2021). In 1968 he emigrated to Sweden and after a few years to the USA. Emeritus Professor of Mathematics, University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He started composing in 1955 and since then has published roughly 90 chess compositions, mainly studies. In tourneys he has received 5 prizes (3 first ones) and 14 honourable mentions. Two of his studies were included in FIDE Albums (3,33 points).
